I thought the CNN app was the worst-performing news app; I was wrong. This app frequently bombs out, shuts down while youre trying to read an article, or simply locks up while youre trying to navigate its menu. I had it on my iPhone6 for about ten minutes, during which time I had to manually close it down at least a dozen times because it had stopped performing. Terrible.

Great content and a straightforward interface, but horribly glitchy. Quits spontaneously, freezes often when clicking on articles, long load times, etc. Given the simple layout Im surprised that these issues are so prevalent - and theyve existed for a long time. Definitely warrants a real update given that were in the midst of a mobile-oriented election season...

I had to take some time to say this is the worst news app I have ever used. I deleted and after a year+ decided to give it a shot. Nothing has changed. Same complain I wrote below over a year ago still applies. I guess The Hill really doesnt care of us, news consumers over smartphones. ------------------- Cannot tweet an article. When clicking the social media button there are no options to select. Worst there no option to cancel and go back to the article so your are stuck there. No option but to close the app.

The app hasnt been updated in years so the controls are grainy and clunky. Theres a good hands the app crashes when you try to open an article, and the app is spammed by ridiculous, clearly not effective, advertisements which also have not been updated in years.

Please add ability to forward article or link to story. When I want to share something, I have to exit the app, search the web and send from there.

Dont download it. Too bad bc the Hill is a great political / government news site.

Come on Hill, you finally update your app for high resolution retina display or so I thought, but where would that be? Your app icon is one of the most blurriest I have on my phone and its still there for your so called high resolution update! I just dont see the retina update anywhere on the app! Also, the huge add at the bottom of your app….why dont you make it go away like most apps do after its been there for a little bit instead of just staying on screen all the time! Maybe get in-app purchase to get rid of all adds! Last but not least you need to work on when reading a story its slow and clunky when trying to bring controls up on screen i.e. back and font control!

I used to love this app until about a week or so ago. Now, every time I open it, it crashes as soon as the new stories load. Make it come back!

Seriously, guys. I, also, loved this app. Checking it was part of my daily routine, but it recently started crashing. I cant even get it to stay open long enough to see the titles of the articles, let alone read any.

Should have read the reviews before buying...

The Hill used to be the last thing I read at night and the first thing in the morning. Now the app crashes within seconds every time I open it. Please fix it so I can get my political "fix". Updated: v1.0.3 still crashing
